Like Play, Like Play….

A music prodigy and highlife maestro, Sir Wilker Jackson started his music career as a member of The Dove Band owned by Mr Patrick Udoh, brother of the Late Reggae sensation, Rasman Maxwell Udoh in 1990.

He later developed his talent under the legendary Ette Ntia as a vocalist in his Ette Ntia and The Eastern Sensation Band. In 2001, he released his first Album, titled, Nkpó Urua Mma which was a sell out and has followed this up with nine more albums all of which sold out.

He however walked himself into legendary status with his 2010 album, titled, Like Play, Like Play, Sir Wilker Become Superstar, which has become a theme song for political campaign rallies, coronations, inductions and anniversaries around Nigeria.

Sir Wilker Jackson, whose real name is Godwin Jackson Akpan hails from Mbak Akpan Ekpenyong in Etoi Clan of Uyo Local Government Area and was born on February 22, 1967. He is married to Glory Godwin Jackson with whom he has three children.

He has garnered over 40 awards and taken his peculiar vernacularized to many countries around the world.
