Rev Uma Ukpai
Preacher beyond Boundaries.

Not many people know Rev Uma Ukpai is not from Akwa Ibom State. He is always referred to globally as an Uyo based International preacher, evangelist and televangelist.

Yet he is a preacher without boundaries. He is acclaimed as Nigeria’s number one non-denominational evangelist. Though an Assemblies of God member, his ministry caters for all members of the body of Christ and unsaved souls who are the very targets of his evangelism missions.

For over 30 years, Rev Ukpai has been a promoter and lead preacher in crusades around Nigeria and the world. It was at his Greater Lagos for Christ Crusade in 1985 that the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, PFN, was given birth to. He would later on served the PFN as National President and Trustee and the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, as National Vice President. He was also the first African Speaker at any convention of the Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship International ( in 1996 in Miami, Florida, USA).

A community service enthusiast, Rev Uma Ukpai has a scholarship foundation which assists students of the University of Uyo with school and other fees.

His ministry also runs a Specialist Hospital in his native Asaga in Ohafia, Abia State.

Rev Uma attended All Saints Secondary School, Aba, Niger Delta Technical School, now Boys Technical College, Aba, School of Journalism and Television, Bircham, Hermitage, the United Kingdom where he obtained a Diploma in Journalism.

A man of study, he also attended the South Florida Christian College, Miami, Florida, Carolina Christian College, Miami, Florida, Carolina Christian University and Burke Bible College, Kentucky. He holds Bachelors and Doctorate degrees from the institutions.
