Nsikak Essien, longest serving editor of the now rested Business Concord and later National Concord newspapers, rang the closing bell of the NIgerian Stock Exchange in 1990 as the most influential national newspaper editor of the time.

In 2020, his daughter, award winning entrepreneur and founder of Rheytrak, a leading vehicle tracking company, also rang the closing bell of the NSE, making history as the first father and daughter to perform the ceremonial bell ringing in Nigeria. Rheytrak which Eno, a graduate of the University of Calabar, founded in 2007 is the undisputed leader in vehicle tracking across Nigeria.

These indigenes of Ikot Ekpene Local Government continue to make Akwa Ibom proud.
