Mfon Udoh
Prolific Football Star

Mfon Udoh is a professional football player who holds two records of being the first player to be twice crowned goal-king in Nigeria and the Nigerian record of the highest number of goals scored in a season when he scored 23 goals in the Nigeria Professional Football League in 2014.

He was also highest goal scorer and Golden Boot winner at the 2016 CAF Champions League.

He started out his career at Calabar Rovers and has played for Akwa United Football Club across two spells where he scored 33 goals in 51 appearances, and Enyimba International of Aba where he served as Team Captain.

The Ikono born Mfon has had a stint in the national team, the Super Eagles, narrowly missing what would have been the second goal in the opening match against Ghana at the official opening of the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium. He was part of the nation’s team to the WAFU Cup of Nations and the qualifying rounds of the Championship of Africa Nations ( CHAN) and scored a goal against Yemen in an international friendly.

He is currently plying his trade for FC Tulsa in the United States.
