Veteran In the service of his people
As the pioneer Commissioner for Information in Akwa Ibom State, he constantly reminded the military governors he served that no meaningful development could take place in the state without adequate accommodation for government business. He wanted a state secretariat that would bring government businesses scattered across Uyo into one location. He never gave up in spite of the answers he got all the time: No funds. He pushed so hard and prayed the state would have a governor that will see such project as a top priority.
