Dr Emmanuel Domingo Inyang
Dr Emmanuel Domingo Inyang bagged a Bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery from the UNN in 1976.
He once sat on the Governing Council of his alma mater, the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, UNN as representative of all alumni. That was a very rare privilege but for someone who has been a good ambassador of the institution in learning and in character, it was a fitting decoration.
The old student of the Holy Family College, Abak, started work shortly after Secondary School as the pioneer Science teacher and Sports Master at the Immaculate Conception Secondary School, Itak in 1969, before gaining admission to the university.
He worked as House Officer at St Luke’s Hospital, Anua before going on to serve the nation at the Millitary Hospital, Benin in the 1977/78 service year. He thereafter worked as Medical Director at Mercy Hospital, Abak till 1979.
Between 1979 and 1988, he worked in the United Kingdom in different hospitals: St James Hospital, Balham, Madisto ne Hospital, Kent, Newham General Hospital and Lister Hospital, Hertfordshire and in different positions as a Surgeon.
Dr Domingo who is one of few Consultant Urological Surgeons in Nigeria came back to Nigeria
